I have a question. Maybe legalbill can chime in. It relates to xvipers relationship to the s2ki board and various vendors that support it. If there is a fiduciary relationship (either by $ or product) and xviper promotes any form of racing where there is damage or an injury involved, does that open a liability window back to the mfg?

I don't know if there is such relationship between xviper or others who post with any sponsors. But even the title of community organizer seems to carry an acknowledged reltaionship of some sort.

Anyway this has been of the funniest most ridiculous threads i've seen on here..maybe it should be retitled "As the S2k Turns" Will xviper and s2kraw find common ground?
Will wantone get his cutebonney sex change operation? And finally back to the original topic. How fast will he go in the quarter.

To ease everyone's mind, XVIPER has no monetary relationship with S2Ki.com. Even the title of Community Organizer met with resistance from me, however, the title stayed regardless. I do not condone street racing. What I may or may not do is on my own conscience.

As for Jason00S2000, I'll ignore your somewhat uncivilized first sentence and actually answer your question:
The half shafts (ie. CV joints) are also a known weak point and have been known to blow. A turboed car over a year and a half ago blew its 1st gear in the first run in the 1/4 mile, so the tranny is not bulletproof either if you pump out too much power. I believe that car was running close to 400 whp. I recall it had a companion turbo car that also was only able to manage a couple of runs before something on it went wrong. Can't remember what that was. As you have claimed, it appears that 350 whp is somewhat easily achievable but anything over about 325 whp has induced driveline issues when all the horses are used.

 

Neither is a mustang or corvette or viper but people do it all of the time. You guys need to get over yourselves, just because you have a car that handles amazing doesn't mean you have to put people down who decide they want to drag race it. I'll rally cross mine if I want to, say what you want. The S2000 is just a car like everything else on the road.

First thing first, an S is not meant for drag-racing. If you bought this car for dragging, you've done so wrong. Should've bought a muscle car instead. With that said, an S is not slow either, but hard to mod to be a great dragster.

Wantone is Bonny? I don't think so. Unless it was him who called my cell phone over a week ago and claimed to be Bonny, and had a very cute voice. Wantone, you're a sick man! But seriously, I've been talking to Bonny for a while now, and she's NOT Wantone. That's such a good thing.

Yes, I don't know her very well, but I talked to her from day 1 'til now, and she always seems very cool with me. Actually, she didn't call to flirt, she called for a few minutes to say hi because I kept asking her to (sorta to confirm it was a girl I was talking to, and it was). What did I believe? I didn't hope to meet or tap her, I just thought she was pretty and I wanted to talk to her. And she just called to say hi. It's all relative. I'm just saying Bonny is not Wantone, unless Wantone sounds like a really cute girl on the phone.
