Default Quarter mile times and hello

Hey everyone i am new to the Japanese scene i just bought my Silverstone S2000 after reading some threads in here and learning a little about the car. I took it to the Track tonight to see what it would run in the 1/4 for shits and giggles. My times were a 14.4 my first run with a 2.1 60' and a 2.2 my second run with a quarter in 14.2. I was pretty impressed with the car overall and suprised to run such slow times. I ran another S2ki member aswell. This was probably the only time ill drag my car and now ill be moving into open track events. If anyone knows any good clubs in the So FL area shoot me a PM or reply to this.

Its pretty hard to launch the car properly to actually get to the high 13's. And you would also need the perfect conditions and be a excellent driver to achieve getting into the high 13's.

But being the new with the car and getting a 14.2, is not that bad. But its not really a drag car IMO. Take it autoXing, thats where you will be really impressed.

You shouldn't be dissappointed. That is a pretty decent time considering your are new to the car. Once you get the launch and shifting down, you should be able to shave a few 10ths.

Decent times...work on that launch. I was able to hit a 13.73 @ 100.8mph back when my s2000 was stock....you just have to learn the car
