hardee's
actually they are basically the same thing... Even overseas Hardee`s and Carl`s Jr. are the same. In Georgia they are Truetts and Chick-fil-a but they are the same.

Thanks for the recounting of your story. I would have been frightened to drive a "new" S cross-country like you did. What an adventure!

As far as your comment about the blind spot, if you adjust your mirrors correctly ( http://www.cartalk.com/content/features/mirrors/ ), or keep the top down, no problems!

Congrats on the purchase. Very nice combo. That sucks on getting a flat tire in the middle of your trip home. Glad you made it back safely. Anyways, enjoy your new ride.

welcome to the family. Nice one you got there.

One thing I noticed:

YOUR Honda OEM RIMS ARE MADE BY ENKEI

Sorry if it seemed like I offended you. I'm positive not everyone is like that but I could only speak for the parts that I traveled through which was mostly rural. In those parts everyone fits the country boy stereotype. I took the 40 nearly the whole way and most of the travel was empty or small "cities" with maybe a population of 200. Cant say for sure but they were really small and it looked more like a gas station stop to me than a supposed city.

Also my wipers WERE on high which was the scary part. I would have liked to look at their tail lights but all i saw was a huge glaring red blob and at the same time I wouldnt want to drive myself off the road. I was sticking to the middle listening to the bumps from the reflector to help guide me >.<
No offense taken. Just setting the account straight that we don't ride horses to school .

I doubt you were getting attention by being asian. The Asians are taking over my city from the west side.
But its the car that gets the looks. I think there are a lot of s2000s in Cali, and while there are plenty here people are like wtf is that car? Its just not a very widely advertised car and most people expect Honda to make nothing better than a Prelude in my opinion.

I've yet to get any comments from teens really. I've gotten compliments from old men and an about 4 year-old kid was talking about my car like it was a monster coming to get him last night when I stopped to drop something off at a girls house .

Btw isn't that a 7-Eleven gas station you said had a lot of gasoline options? Yeah they do have a ton of options while the other gas stations like shell only have 3 options+diesel usually. (regular, premium, and than I dunno what the third option is something like super unleaded)

WTF? Hardee? Is that supposed to be a rip of Carls Jr? Or is it just called something else over there?

[/QUOTE]
That is what it is. - Hardee's owns Carl's Jr.

You also have to remember that you live in a very densly populated area of the country, and you visited a very low populated area.

I am glad you got back ok and congrats on the S.

I'm not sure if its a 7 eleven. It might be Sinclair? I'm guessing from the sticker next to it.

I was in Asia and oddly the culture shock there wasn't as big as it was here. Maybe I was just expecting it to be like that there while here I wasn't prepared.

Hmmm did you only change one tire? You should at least change two of them, given that you already had quite a few miles on your left tire ...

Anyway ... nice car!
