i'm not talking about AP1 VS AP2
i'm talking about AP2v1(MY04-05) VS AP2v2 (MY06-07)

Hmmm not quite. The effective gearing for 1st to 4th (inclusive) are shorter on the AP2. The 5th and 6th are taller on the AP2. Honda achieved a shortereffective gearong from 1st to 4th by lowering the secondary gear ratio on the AP2, with the actual gear ratios remaining the same there.

Anyway, to answer OP's question, all AP2s have the same gearing based on published data from Honda.

I cant speak technically about any differences but I think the '04 tranny felt a little shorter in the throws than the '06. But that could just be my imagination...........
