Question about comptech adjustable springs
how are the comptech springs?
how is the ride with them?
is the quality of the springs good?
and finally you can use the stock shocks correct?
im just curious, cause i am a big fan of comptech
thanks for the info,
Yod88
I had a set on stock shocks that the previous owner had put on. I was dropped about 2". Handling was great. Ride quality was great. BUT...they squeeked like hell on every bump. I sprayed the hell out of every moving suspension part and couldn't get the squeeks to go away.
I can't honestly blame it strictly on the springs, but the service manager at the honda dealer blamed them. He mentioned that he'd never seen a lowered s2k that didn't squeek.

dude, you dropped it 2" on stock shocks. what do you expect?
the comptech springs are great, but a bit overpriced. their spring rates are very close to that of the stock '00-01 rates.
i'd personally go with ground controls. go with 340/380 front and rear.
good luck,
