Buying used springs, good idea or bad mojo? Also opinions on the comptech adj.
I have done a ton of searches and read everything I can find on many suspension topics.
What it comes down to is that it would seem the stock shocks are very good until they wear out. So I am going to opt for a spring option on my stock shocks for a number of miles at the least.
Is buying a used set of springs a bad idea? My gut feeling is that this should be a no-no, but I dont know. Is there a certain number of miles that it would be good to avoid for purchasing used springs?
I'm torn between the Eibach's and the Comptech Adjustable springs. For $633 shipped from ricks this doesnt seem like a bad investment especially since I can tweak my ride hieght as needed. Then again this is a $400 difference between spring sets.
Please remember I have searched and researched these topics. These are just the remaining questions I have.
Thanks, Jason

Thats good to hear, Im just a bit concerned about spring rate degredating over time. I know Eibach carries an insanely long warrenty but I dont know how realistic it would be to expect springs to perform after 10-20k miles.
