Question about engine noise
Ok, I only have like 40 miles on the car(never went over 4.5k rpm) and there is a noise I just noitced. Say for example you are in first, and when you let of the gas to change gears..as the rpm drops, there is a slight knocking noise while you have the clutch in. i know a person who said that his car does the same thing, but i just wanted to check with all you of guys. does anyone know what im talking about and what is causing this noise?
Yes, im paranoid.

I listen quite intently to mine (I like to drive with the radio OFF) and I must admit I haven't heard anything like you describe in 25,000 miles.
When do you hear this noise? Is the clutch still engaged or not? Mine will make quit a racket (clunk, knock) in first if you are giving it gas, then suddenly let off. That noise is just the normal play in the drive train and is nothing to worry about. I would try not to do this very often.
Make sure that you keep a close eye on the oil level while you are breaking the engine in. Most will use oil during break in.

if you mean top up, yes the car is noisy-
it was not meant to have a top!
take it down and all you hear is the roar of the rear!
