i have it on my '05 AP2 and it sounds fantastic......K&N says it adds 9.55 hp, but the only way to get the best reading is to put it on the dyno....i honestly don't really care whether it gives me 5 or 9hp, the car sounds great and the intake looks amaxing in the engine bay.....one thing that you def. want to have is the seal they provide.....make sure you do put it on the mount/intake box.....it really seals it to the hood so that you get maximum air to the intake.....but anyway, in my opinion it is better than the AEM that everyone talks about because you don't have to worry about sucking in water when going through puddles.....get it, install it, drive it, you'll be more than satisfied!!!!

I just put one on mine...It's so much fun, but not embarassing like those baked bean can exhausts!
Really burbling sound, but you don't really notice too much power, it feels like a sharper cleaner uptake. I don't think you'll regret it. THe instructions are quite clear, but not totally. A guy in the UK forums, Dark Blue Mark, provided me with some more photos which allowed me to finish the job properly.

I've had one for a couple of years. I don't really notice more power, either. VTEC is more pronouced, so a bit more top end perhaps. The sound it makes is the biggest gain...it still makes me grin.

2-4hp. no one has been able to verify the 9.5hp gain to my knowledge. No intake will give you big gains on this car so get the one that looks best, fits your budget, and has the sweetest sound

the sound alone justifies the cost i think. my butt dyno tells me i'm getting something as well. it does feel like theres a little more power right before vtec kicks in than before, but then after vtec kicks in i dont really notice anything but the sound lol.

I would say that the S2X Aut design cooling plate would be the best.

The only way you would see a 9 hp gain is if you can dyno under real-world circumstances, which is impossible. Same thing goes for the Mugen, J's, etc. intakes.
