Don't our keys have microchips in them so the car can't be started, even if the grooves are the same? I think you're going to have to go through Honda to get a new key.
There is an old thread about these. You have to cut the chip out of your stock key. Take the new JDM key apart and grind a hole in the key. Then mount the chip and glue it back together. If you don't the JDM key will not start your car.
For what it's worth, I too ended up with only one key and remote. I had a new key made at the Honda Dealership this week. It cost about 45 dollars. They made the new key in a matter of minutes. They referred to it as a T5 key and it has "T5" printed on the key. I didn't get another remote, but they quoted me a price of $108 as I recall.
