Unhappy QUESTION about spacers

im going to have to run spacers up front for my BBK and was wondering about it? what will i need besides the spacers? longer studs? open ended lug nuts?

u can use longer studs with slip on spacers or just get bolt on spacers from projct kiks!

I run 5mm spacers on the civic track car. They came with extended studs. I'd assume you should go with extended studs, but the rule of thumb is usually if you can't get at least 6 complete turns on the lugnut, then get extended studs.

FYI, i am getting about 5 complete turns on the civic with the stock studs (wanted to wait till next alignment to install extended studs) They survived Laguna Seca. Take from that what you will.

That's good info to know actually. Only 6 though? Don't remember exactly, but with a stock wheel/studs, you get like a whole lot of turns right?

thanks....mines a daily driver but no track time here....just a cruiser . Thanks everyone

The risk is up to you. I added a 3 mm spacer to clear my BBK's and I put longer studs on. I filed it under the "better to be safe then sorry" file.
