Default Question about warranty work

I have 35,300 miles on my S2K and have to make a decision about whether I want to have warranty work done on the transmission. Service bulletins 00-054 and 00-054 offer corrections for the buzzing from the engine or transmission while decelerating and the grinding when shifting into 2nd gear. Both these items are very minor annoyances to me. I am tempted to leave them alone rather than take a chance on a mechanic taking apart the transmission and possibly creating more problems then they fix when they put it all together again. What would you people do? I have been trying not to drive the car as I agonize over this decision and need to make up my mind soon since the weather is warming up and I want to start cruising around in my toy again.

I have almost 18K miles and am waiting to hear from the dealer if they will honor the TSB. At 12K miles your clutch warantee is up and it is up to the dealer if they want to do a "Goodwill" fix.
I just found that the noise was getting on my nerves more and more.
