i called the dealer. they told me that they sold the car first. but 1 week later, bank cannot approve the loan. however, customer just returned the back recently. this is why it has additional 4000 miles.

since i have purchased a few new cars in dealers before, they usually approved the loan before they let you go out. this seems hard to believe. god knows how hard to let those people not telling any i feel like what makes the customer to return the car after 4000 miles....

what do you guys think about this?

4k miles in a week?

 

i know what you mean. what kind of person put 4000 miles within 1 week. i questioned that, too. they told me that they got it back recently. so it means the customer had the car for few months even after the bank denied the loan. i feel this is a BS.

It is a b.s. story.


I think a salesman or someone from the dealership has been driving it for the last 4 months and put on 4k miles.

That’s why the carfax still shows one owner.

yes. that's also the only reason in my mind because i have seen those people (the owner or sales manager) drive their cars daily. they switch cars often.
