Default Question for the depreciation experts

On average about how much do you guys think the S2K would depreciate in January since the car will be one year older? Lets say a '04 with current blue book for $18k right now.

How many miles? Any damage? There are key variables that you must factor in to speak of resale value.

well from my perspective being an s2000 owner looking to sell my car i wouldnt change my price compared to what is was listed this year. I was looking for $19000 and most likely that'll be the price im gonna advertise it for next year. Hondas especially NSX and S2000 don't depreciate much since they're more on the rare side amongst cars

^nsx yes, s2000 no. however if it is immaculate with low miles then yes it will hold some value but not by significantly...if it "books" at 18k for an 04 it must have <30k miles on it probably...but even now it'll be hard for you to find someone willing to pay 18k for a MY04 when you can buy 06's for <18k.

There seems to be a threshold where the dropping price beings to level out. I feel like my '01 with 39k will hold at 10,000 or alittle over for a while if i take care of it. Thats untill maybe 50-60k

If you own an S2000 chances are it's worth much much less than you could buy an equally nice car for once you sold it. This is why I will never sell mine to buy another car.
