This is typical. My experience is the same. The car's handling is very sensitive to tires and alignment.

No surprise on the Firehawk 500 tires as they're Bridgesone RE003 tires other than the sidewall lettering. Max Performance Summer Tire that's a darling on the other side of the Pacific Ocean. Bridgestone apparently furnishes the RE003 tires to the Mighty Car Mods guys for their cars.

Yes, I noticed that too. I assume it was just imprecise language.

Actually, in some instances that's exactly what I meant, but im not talking about hard cornering. Making a right turn at a stop light and shifting from 1st to 2nd, and when the clutch went in, it tucked in a bit more as soon as drivetrain pressure was off.

Im not hearing anything out of the norm. This car has a short wheel base and a torsion diff, which essentially means its "active" under throttle, meaning throttle load engages or disengages the rear wheels from both being under power or just one and that will effect how the car behaves on over/under steer. So will your toe alignment and how stiff your suspension is. It all influences this behavior. Drive accordingly is the bottom line. Learn to use it to your advantage or end up in the ditch.
