Hi

If I wanted to hook up an AMP, are there RCA connectors in the stock head unit? Can I just buy a normal amp and hook it up to the head unit via RCA cables?

Thanks

rob

I'm not aware of any Honda OEM head units that come with standard RCA pre-amp outputs. To get the best sound from a new amp you would probably want another head unit.

If you want to hook up an amp, just buy a pac in-line coverter. You hook the speaker connections from the head unit to one end and the other end has RCA connections that go to the amp. BUT BEWARE, I blew a couple of fuses and had to put MOTOR OIL on the speaker cable and tape it to a coat hanger to get it into the doors (12 gauge sheilded). Good luck!

You and me both! Though who the heck knows the impedance or voltage output of those RCA's on the radio. Most likely they will not have a plain RCA output. THATS TO EASY!

They will probably have some huge plug that gives power ground RCA etc through one big molex plug. Good luck on that one.

Though as usual im still around if you guys need my mod or expertice.(sorry cant spell to lazy)
