Default Question for Las vegas owners

Since we don't have a Las Vegas owners forum, please excuse the interruption here in S2000 Talk.

For those of you who live in Las Vegas, I'm contemplating a move there in the near future. I've got a few questions that you might be able to help me with so if you would be so kind as to send me a PM and identify yourself I'd like to pick your brains.

Thanks in advance

The questions are obvious, so here are the answers:

Always bet maximum free-odds. And keep your bets to the Pass/Don't Pass and the Come/Don't Come lines. The rest are just donations to the casino.

If it has lights and bells, it's there to rob you blind.

And if you're paying more than $300/hr. you're getting ripped off.

Cool...how did you get the car out there? I have a few quotes in the neighborhood of $1000 from NY to Vegas but don't know anyone who's actually used any of the carriers.

The questions (besides the obvious gambling related ones) have to do with the cost of insuring the car there, washing the car (it is a desert after all), price of gas etc.

We're looking in the Henderson/ Green Valley area for places to live...any place we should stay away from? ANy place you can recomend? General stuff like that.

If you have any pearls you'd like to share about the move then bring them on. 2600 miles is far enough that I want to do this the right way.

Thanks,

J.P.
