question to people with spa/indy yellow
I'm just curious. Has anyone here gotten yellow and wished they had gotten something less "look at me","pull me over" ?
The reason I ask is I had a 900RR that was bright pearl yellow with polished frame and wheels. after a year of lots of attention I got tired of it and got a silver and black f4i. Less pop but, about the same amount of attention.
Let me know if you'd get something understated next time. or what you second choice would have been if yellow wasnt available at the time?!
Thanks,

I still love my spa yellow. I still like white on the S2000, but I just couldn't stomach the all red interior that came with the white in 2002. Compared to yellow, all of the other colors just seemed so boring.
Well I like it and red or yellow makes me think of a ferrari. Just not sure if anyone is getting more tickets or annoying people messing with them..regret not being able to park somewhere and people not say hey I saw your (car,Bike) at the place last night..
Basically I'm trying to decide if I would get yellow or silverstone.

I've gotten pulled over twice in my S2000 and received one ticket in four years of owning it. I don't drive like a crazy person, but I don't generally go the speed limit. I'm sure my attentive, smart driving combined with my V1 have helped, but I don't think yellow is really that much of a problem in getting tickets. I've also not had any vandalism problems. I wouldn't really think that people who are going to mess with your car really care what color it is.

I often regret getting yellow. The car doesn't look the same in the shade as in the sun. It only looks good in the sun. My garage is shaded, obviously, and is where I view my car most often, thus I don't feel love during my garage visits. The garage visit is an important facet of any man/car relationship, I think you'll agree. Now that I've become aware of this problem with yellow, and been attentive to other s2000's in different colors, white would be my choice if I could do it all over again.
Spa was my favorite color for many years, until I discovered how beautiful the NFR is. Yellow slipped to #2, but when I came across a a great deal on a Spa, I couldn't pass it up.
Life could be worse. I love the color.
