Default Question to S2K owners.....

Ok first of all i have been viewing this forum for a little while off and on and i noticed a TON of threads (not to mention your sites home page) out there with you guys (S2K owners) comparing your car to everything, or just simply saying that your car is flat out better. I know this goes on in other forums also, but it just seems to be extremely common here.

My question is: can you guys explain why you have to do all the comparing and and bashing of other cars out there. If you love your car so much then why do you have to talk crap and compare constantly?

I don't want to cause any trouble or name calling i just want to understand.

Thanks

I would love to see a quote from a thread on this site stating what you have said. Otherwise, this should be closed. Hell, it should be closed anyway. But I can tell you right now that there are alot of better cars out there. But there are also cars better than a Geo Metro and people buy them because they fit their needs. Same goes for every car.

actually, if you are worth a shit, you can buy a new one for under 31K brand new.

perhaps the better statement would be..." because it's the very best performance car money can buy"....straight line, slalom, track, skid, etc. all combined.

no other car will get you your money's worth, except the corvette, for about 20K more.

from what i have read

all these cars are similar and close in price: 350Z, G35, Miata (not sure which one), Rx7, supra, EVO, STI, mustang, Trans Am... im sure there are more

Im not doubting the S2K im just trying to understand why you guys dont think any other car can even compair to it.

Did those owners you met in person let YOU drive the car?
That makes a big difference, the feel of driving a S2000.
Do that first, then come back
10 minutes of driving will explain reading 1000 posts
