Thumbs up Question on selling S2K

Hello Boys and Girls,

Have a quick question. Looking to sell my modified S2K. 01 blk/blk with a number of mods (see below). My question is, what is a fair price? I have listed it for 21.5, however, haven't seen much action, so assume I am either asking too much or the economy is affecting interest. I'm truly not trying to be a pig, am willing to take advice with what consenus is on the forum; it's how I came to buy it in the first place!

Thank you.

kbb excellent value on your car is 12k, private sale.

you can't tack on 9.5k for your mods - mods just don't add value. if you want your money back for them, part out and sell them separately.

good luck with it.

Anytime your heavily modified your going to reduce your clientel.

You have a very clean car! I suggest parting it out and going back to stock.

As mentioned, mods don't do anything for the sale value.

If anything, it devalues the car in terms of resale.

I think parting it out with someone willing to give you back stock parts in exange would be the best bet.

I was shopping for a S2k not to long ago and with the mods that you have I would of stayed away (no warranty and could of been abused)

Thanks much for the feedback. I would consider parting it out, not a bad idea. Would need to trade on here for stock + cash. See what it would cost to remove SC; though would people purchase a SC? I have not abused this car and the tuner shop can attest to that, they give me grief all the time for treating it like a princess. That said, it gets frequent reasonable exercise so as not to gum up anything. I'm a guy in my 40's who doesn't like breaking things! As far as what's up next; maybe my 3rd NSX??

great condition...and the right enthusiast, you may be able to pull it off.

Easier to part out and cut your losses. In times of economic dismay, you may want to think about it.

Florida car? Me thinks you need to come by my place tomorrow morning at 6AM while I still have $15k in my pocket and let me drive it!

Note that I did see a very similar car in South Florida with a supercharger. It had a little more miles (but still low) and I think it might have been an '02. He was asking around $16,000. Only action he got was a scammer.
