Default Question for smokers

If you smoke in your S, how do you do it? Physically I mean. There is no ashtray and I refuse to give up my one cupholder. I use the thing behind the cupholder for spare change and have yet to find anything that will work as an ashtray.

Also, where do you ash with the top down? I always aim for the top of the a-pillar.

I just hope for the best. Top up or down I put my window up so there is a 3inch or so gap from the windshield. I have accidently hit my dash when shifting and did get a tiny tiny burn on the carpet in front of the radio but it is hardly noticeable.

I honestly don't care about burns though, although I've never had a cig burn on any of my car before.

it's just a cheap car. It's not an Enzo we're talking about.

If it's not over $100,000, I will think about my needs before the car's needs.

If you don't live in an area where cigarette butts mean instant forest fire, then out the window for both the ashes and the butt should work for top up. Top down I would probably drop the ashes behind the side mirror and flick the butt straight down at the road, arm out the window. Luckilly I'm now an Ex-Smoker and don't have to worry about it.

I do hate it when another drive throughs out a butt in front of me. I worry it will land in my car. Anyone every had this happen?

Yea I feel pretty much the same but it still makes me mad if I do burn something, resale value goes down.

you can get an ap2 center console and use the ashtray or get an after market cup holder. I usually have an empty gatorade bottle next to me so I ash in there or out the window. I find it hard to ash sometimes with the top down cuz the wind sometimes blows it back in my car.

The AP2 doesn't have an ashtray. I don't even think it has an option for one.
