Question Question for those with Single Exhaust

hey guys,

This thread is mainly directed to those with single outlet exhaust on their s2ks.

I have recently been fortunate enough to acquire and installed an ARC titanium single exhaust on my S2K but notice that the exhaust sits real low! The exhaust dips down abit lower than the diff. My car is lowered, but i had never encoutered any clearence issues with the standard exhaust. Just wanna see how other ppls single exhaust sits, if any here has the ARC would be great to hear ur views.

arrows point to wher it scrapes should it be sitting that low?? i was watching the BMI togue battle with the amuse s2k and their exhaust didnt seem to scrape....

I have the JIC Magic single titanium exhaust . I am lowered (1.5") and have no clearance issues. My exhaust is about even with the rear dif. Check to see if there is a way to turn the pips up a little more, that is if you have not already.

The pic was taken before I lowered the car but, the exhaust still sits in the same place as shown

Looks like you have a poorly designed exhaust. May be put together with off the shelf exhaust pieces? If they had designed that exhaust specifically for the S2k they would have never placed the joint so low down there. It should have been a smooth pipe all the way further up.

My car is lowered and my single sits the same as the JIC pictured. No scraping problems for me.

I have the HKS hipower single outlet...I dont have too many clearance issues unless I'm backing out of a serious incline, I will take a better look at it tomorrow to see if it sits anywhere comparable to your JIC.
