Everyone has their preferences, opinions and thoughts. Please respect them even if you don't agree. There are a lot of non-S2000 owners who come here because of the quality of the people and the discussions. I welcome those who are interested in the S2000 and sport car enthusiasm in general and I hope you do too. They come for the same reasons you do, to participate in intellegent conversation with intellegent people who have a few slices short of a full loaf when it comes to cars.

Please join me in welcoming your fellow enthusiasts. They are not here trolling simply because they don't own or even want to own an S2000.

And I thought this was going to be a thread on how similar each piston would be to the next, or what bolt size I could get away with

Agreed. We're better than that, right?

Car bashing reminds me of those hard core Harley riders years ago who hated 'Jap-Crap' motorcycles as they so eloquently put it.

People who bash other marques are missing the point. It's the concept of open top driving and freedom experienced that we all share. For me this goes way beyond a brand name. Unfortunately for many it seems to be a competition.

Which reminds me..whatever happened to that All Roadster board that sprung up a while back?

Can I also add, please don't flame people who bring up a beaten to death subject. Again, they may be newcomers, or want an update where their search gave unclear results.

We were all new to this car once!

Muz, it's still around. I believe it was more or less an extension of the Miata forum, which I'm not criticizing, so it's mostly discussion about Miata's, I believe. I haven't been there in a while, but that's what it was like before...(not that there is anything wrong with that!)

Yes, C3, I agree. It's a hard thing to promote because everyone has opinions and well, you know what that means. But it's one thing to be critical for criticism's sake as opposed to just not liking something and being vocal about it. We all have personal tastes, both good and bad.

It's also interesting to note that whenever there are flame wars here, it's between US. It's usually not between S2000 people and some interloper, it's between S2000 owners. I'm not going to do ANYTHING to promote this, which some may say that I have done in the past...I'm being a good boy and while there are obvious personality (and otherwise) differences between me and a member or two, I'm won't be arguing about it. It's just not worth it to me, nor does it do any good to community, despite what the intentions are. It's call the High Road and I'm on it...
