Europe exists, but uk English is native language only for uk, right? But maybe Europeans that also speak English would use uk terminology.

In addition to what everyone else said, I spot two things:

1. It looks like there is a bad rear differential mount. When they go bad, a brown oily damping substance leaks out, leaving a brown stain. So budget for having thise replaced. Car will drive and shift much smoother afterwards.

2. It looks like the softtop isn't going down as far as it should. That is usually a sign of worn elastic straps. But they said top was new, so that seems odd. Maybe in the photo whoever put top down just didn't let it go all the way down.

In any case, a cheap easy fix. Google Modifry soft top straps for easy, cheap kit to fix if that is an actual issue. His link will also show how to tell if straps need replacing.

There is a thread somewhere for things for new owners to do and to inspect. Very comprehensive.

Roof was stated to be replaced along with the seals. I don't think it's clear what the seals being replaced means. It's not clear if it was one, all, Honda, or otherwise. I've never seen a Honda one tear like that but I'm sure it can happen. Those seals add up to a pretty good amount if purchased from Honda and I wouldn't want to do it with aftermarket stuff. If OP buys this car - Search Shin-Etsu grease on here that people use to grease the seals. It keeps them supple over time and is important as the cars age.

Regardless, the car looks good otherwise and all of that stuff is replaceable without degrading the car at all. i.e. It's not like the car had a smushed front end that can be "fixed" but never truly restored. The top stuff is manageable but you should budget for it. I'm also skeptical of generic shops installing tops. When I got my car, mine had a new top but pinched corners like above and a few signs it was not the best install. I found water in the trunk and had to get to the bottom of it. I drove 2 hours to a guy from this forum that had replaced hundreds of tops and would know what he was looking at. He tore it apart within 30 minutes, told me they messed up the trim on the back of the car and also some interior panels. I had to go home, order the part ($200+), some used interior plastics, drive back up 2 hours, pay for labor and it's all fixed. No guarantee that's going on here but it's possible. I'd also recommend peeling back the trunk interior and making sure it's not rusting from the inside out. My current car I'm referring to did not rust out because I caught it in time. My AP1 I had before it had a rusty trunk floor that I could poke through. I paid a pretty penny to have it cut out and replaced.

It's a 20 year old car and all driven examples are going to have little things. The cheap repairs are unfortunate but can be papered over easily. Just something to account for. Whoever pointed out the diff mount is a good catch. I was wondering where that brown looking liquid was coming from.
