Hi there S2k community.

I currently own a Mustang, and for the love of god I can't get it to handle as well as I'd like it to (big surprise?). I have grown out of my "V8 straight-line" mentality a looong time ago, and for the longest time I have been looking at well-rounded cars as a replacement to my dear dinosaur. After much thought and research into the handling, braking, and power aspects of vehicles such as STi's, lan-evo's, and even a brief romp into the thought of a Skyline (horrid process), I have arrived at setting my sights on an S2000.

My question is this: is there any thing that I should look out for when searching for my perfect vehicle?

Any years to look out for? (ex: 96-98 Mustang GTs had horrid intake port designs and thus only made 220 hp out of a 281ci V8)

Have there been any problems with certain parts failing on most vehicles? (ex. 02-03 WRX's 5 speeds detonate all the time with any kind of continued track/autox abuse)

Anything else I should know about?
