Another vote for a taller screen . I've had my 7/8ths screen for sometime now...and although I have no hair to blow around (thanks Gillette )...that same squeaky-clean scalp definitely knows when cool-to-cold wind is hitting it .

I have an '01 with the 7/8ths screen. Although not shown in these older pics below, I have a camera mount installed directly behind it (so I can't fold down the screen without completely unmounting the camera mount). I also have my top pimp-rigged to flip da lid up and down while rolling (and do so at speeds up to 20mph). At no time has the 7/8ths windscreen been in jeopardy of being snapped off. And with nearly 75,000 miles now on The Bruised Banana...and the vaaaast majority of those miles top-down....I can attest to the clearance.

At the same time...always check your car's top-down effort with the new screen before just assuming all will be well .

Oh...And I squeezed a bead of black silicone sealant into that gap that will exist between the 7/8ths windscreen and the screen's OEM base.

I've got the full screen.... no need to do this at all for the 00-01 model

Hey W1ngman,

You appear to have the full height one. It comes all the way up to the top of the roll hoop.

Looks great either way, and works alot better.

The more I look at it...the more

I mean...if mine were 7/8ths and there were one *more* 1/8th to go...where would it go!??! .

Thanks,
Dave

Thanks for the info. Would you say that the best bang for the buck is:

1. headrests
2. Major Havoc's
3. either OEM or Rick's 7/8 windscreen

Are the headrests still available and do you ever feel that they're "in the way" or uncomfortable??

Oh yeah. I remember a couple of months ago you installed a wing spoiler. After living with it for awhile, how do you like it??
