are the cruise buttons on the steering wheel the same for AP1 and AP2?

No, they aren't. AP2 have three buttons - one dedicated to Cancel. I'm pretty sure this change happened between 03 and 04, but it may have happened between AP1 02 & 03 models...

Saki's right. . .the change happened during the AP1 to AP2 switch. My 03 has two buttons and you push both to cancel.

Modify has that little Dremel-out-the-nub-between-the-buttons mod on his site. Guess Honda came up with their own fix.
