Mike, I recently bought a set of chrome black emblems for my S. I replaced my "H" logos, but not the two S2000 logos because i think the current ones look just fine. They're new and should be easy to install. The car surface needs to be CLEAN and the adhesive needs to be slighted heated with a hair dryer. Email me if you want to pick it up, i'm in West LA. - Brian

Well, they're off now so does it really matter whether you put them back on right away or later? I suggest enjoying the custom look of the car now, and replacing the badges when you sell it. If anyone cares, which they won't.

If you want it to look factory, I'd suggest replacing them, you can buy a roll of adhesive tape made just for emblems, a roll from you auto paint and supply place will run around $20 bucks. You will have to spend about an hour getting the old adhesive off and cutting and triming the new, a real pain in the butt. To replace, "2000" is $14, the "s" is $4.67,"H" is 15.90. Get them through your Honda dealer. The trick is getting them in the same spot side to side. Measure them in regards to the back of the fender and mark with a piece of tape, hope this helps.

Badges are expensive - what's more....you have to order the 'S' as a separate part # to the '2000'!!!!!!

To get them straight, use a 10" line of masking tape or pinstriping tape as a baseline. refer to shots of other S2000's to get a reference of placement and orientation of the S and 2000.

Try and delay putting the badges on. Your dad may just eventually forget about it!

Anyway, FWIW, I actually LIKE the S2000 badges! Helps to educate the public about what type of car you are driving as well! People won't get TOO close trying to see what the car is. My $0.02 though!

Ps. While you are at it, get an S2000 badge set to put on the radio cover inside the car. It looks sweet!

hey guys its a bummer huh... well it is my car but my dad had juss bought it for me when he became pres. of his co. so im assuming that he is kinda mad cause i guess im kinda defacing the car that he bought for me that he worked hard for. well i decided to get the black chrome kit which come with the two S2000 badges and the two h's correct? well i've seen the black chrome badges but no one seems to put on the s2000 badges that come with it. why is that do they look bad or are they just very similar to the ones already on the car? n e 1 have good pics of the black chrome s2000 badges on their car?

Yeah, I'd also like to see pics of the Black Chrome S2000 badges that come with the kit. How are they different to the stock badges.

Thanks in advance.

BTW, Mike (DJHohum), make sure you get your black chrome kit from Trevor at H&A accessories (a supporting vendor on this forum) - waaaay cheaper than the dealer. These guys are the best!

Cheers,
