I bought my S2K in June, and I never really had the top up. But finally it has rained a couple of days here, so I had to put the top up. I decided to buy the top liner. It took a while to get it installed, but now that it is installed I really like it. It makes for a much more finished look inside.

My question is why didn't Honda install one in the first place. I really don't care about a clock, but the top liner really should of been standard. I do not know if it makes it much quieter, or holds the heat, but it sure looks better. One would think for the money, the liner should be included.

Where did you buy the top liner and how much?

Does it fit pretty snug, and make it look like it is part of the top, especially arrount the ends/corners?

Did it reduce the noise level?

I am happy with the fit. I bought it from Mg Racing. A sponsor of S2Ki. It looks like other liners that I am aware of.

I agree that if you never drive with the top up, it is unnecessary, but most people do not live in Marina del Ray. Even here where is only rains 18 inches a year, it does occasionally rain, and this car is too much fun not to drive just becasue it is raining.
It is just a way that Honda cut corners, and it just seems to me to be such a first class car, this was a bad spot to cut. Even my old VW convertible had a liner.

Now if I lived in St. Louis Mo, where I know that it rains more often than here and I am tall (6' 1") so I do see the top, I am sure that I would buy the liner.
