Planning on upgrading my MY01 plastic window top to glass soft top. Heard alot of great things on www.topsonline.com, so I decided to check their prices.

It seems like they have 2 available brands for the s2000 soft tops. EZ On Brand, and the more popular Robbins. My question is, Robbins is almost $100 more then the "EZ On" brand. Is there a major difference in these two tops? Any members purchased the "EZ On" brand and can share some input? Thanks in advance.

 

Robbins..you get what you pay for. Keep in mind the Robbins is also about 100 dollars less the OEM.

 

Robbins stayfast. You will not regret it. Topsonline is a good company too. I've never had an online vendor call me to let me know all the details on my order before. A+

i kno the robbins top is good. but i was wondering if ANY members has the EZ ON brand on the car?

The saying "You get what you pay for" is very well true, but I was just wondering if the difference between Robbins vs EZ On is like Gucci vs some random Ross brand or something.

How hard was the installation? How many hours and beer bottles?

Good question. You might call TOL and see if you can get some insight on the cheaper top .It's possible that it is a rebranded Robbins and the same thing or it could be something else. If after talking to a sales rep you don't feel you got a knowledgable answer, spend the extra $100 and get the Robbins.
