Default Quickee ? WeatherShield Maintenance

I must have thrown away the original info sheet that came with it. I know I can put it in the dryer, but can I just wash it in the washing machine on normal? cold water??

Thanks

yeah - i believe that is right. i can check my care sheet when i go back home, but i think you just put it in washer with cold water and powder detergent (not the kind with bleach in it) on a normal cycle. just be careful doing it in your home washer....or a top loader in general. i had washed mine at home several times with no problems, then one day it made my washer go nuts. i managed to fix it, but i will wash the cover at the laundromat in a front loader from now on. the cover must have been way balled up in one side of the washer, and when it tried to spin......it popped the wash tub out of the suspension mounts and made a huge loud thud, broke all these plastic things around the tub, dented the front of my washer, and crunched the wood trim of my washer closet. luckily, i was able to get the washer back to normal without too much difficulty.

and, once you wash it, they say to dry it on high heat for two hours to regain the water repellency.
