May RED MX5 rest in peace

He's truly been a unconditional supporter of the S2Ki community. He certainly has contributed tremendously in the past few years.

Really sorry to hear about the loss ...

He was always very supportive of even the most noob or riduculous of questions. Great man.

omg. Im so sorry for his families loss. He was such a helpful member of this community. When I was a newbie, he pointed me in the right direction many times without coming off as an asshole or anything.

Although I have never met him in person, I can honestly say he was a great guy.

To the family, if you read this:

I am sorry for your loss.

It takes a lot of effort to conduct yourself with grace and kindness in the forum community, as there are always those that will test you. Chuck was one of those very few over the years that always made the effort to educate rather than humiliate, which he could have easily done given his obvious knowledge and experience. This speaks volumes. Our community and his family have suffered a huge loss, I hope they take pride and come to realize how many people he was able to help and inspire here with his enthusiasm for a shared passion. In the context that I was fortunate enough to know him in, RED was a good man and a rare person. To his family, my sincere condolences.

I'm a blown away

Very sad news...What a great guy and a true friend on this forum. I'm sure I'm one of the many that read his posts and learned from him.
One of my most favorite was the myth busting over drive shaft spacers LOL

Red and SpitfireS had really made one of the all time best threads ever. Red and I Pmed a bit over the years and I considered him a friend and not just a cyber acquaintance.

We will all miss him very much as well as his informative and fun posts he made. My heart felt condolences go out to his family and close friends

We updated Chuck's avatar

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showuser=32853

I tried on a few occasions to convince Chuck to be a moderator on s2ki. Third time was a charm. He wasn't able to help as much in the last few months like he wanted and that bothered him a lot. We had pm exchanges were he thought he should step down. He felt he was letting us down admins" and his fellow s2k friends. He was very stubborn

I will miss his humor, and his enthusiasm for cars, this site, and all the friends he made.

The last post he made in the moderator forum was March 24th. I am sure he was not feeling well, but his concern for a member and a thread seemed more important to him.

I never spoke with him or knew him, but I always made a point to read his posts if he was taking part in a thread I was reading. His knowledge was priceless both about cars and life in general.

RIP to REDMX5 and condolences to his family.
