Default R&T S2000 article

hey..so I'm sure this has already been knocked around a bit, but I was reading about the official changes to the '04 s2000.

I knew about the 181cc add, but they also lowered the redline to 8K and smoothed out the tail a little.

that's great and all, but i kind of like the fact that i bought the last year of the more raw s2000. gotta love the explosiveness of a tail happy car with a 9K redline.

I like the tail happiness...

although sometimes it DOES catch me by surprise... I just lowered it and the other day I was turning at a light that was turnin yellow... turns out that you barely have to give it throttle input now to get the tail out... so I ended up with a slight drift around the corner... caught me by surprise, but luckily I caught it back before it punished me..

Other than that, I love tail happiness..

on my 01 Celica GT-S, I had Nitto 555Rs in the front and the stock advans in the back often... I could drift the corners if I took em hard enough.

My Prelude was set up where I could drift through corners at will, too. However, FWD cars are a lot easier to catch than RWD cars.
