Hey, I recently purchased some brand new OEM 2004-2005 tail lights and was planning on installing them on my year 2000 S2000. I took out my driver's side tail light and tried to put in the new one and realized that 1. it's not going to fit and 2. the wiring harness is different and won't plug in to the new tail light. I was assuming this would be an easy installation, but I guess I was was wrong. I was just wondering if someone with an earlier model S2000 has converted to these tail lights, and if so, how?

you have to do some cutting to get the 04 tail lights to fit. There's a DIY somewhere around here.. just do a search.

 

I was debating doing the conversion on my 2001 but doesnt sound worth it.
