I ordered a vinyl dash kit from R-VINYL. It's made to look like brushed aluminum and there are about a dozen pieces in all... covers much of the black plastic in the car's interior... door handle unit, cup holder top, etc.

I'm a little apprehensive about sticking this stuff to my car. I have no idea if it will look good, or cheap, or what. Mainly I wanted to cover the ring that surrounds my shifter, so I will probably start (and maybe end) with that. The whole kit only cost about $30.

Curious if anyone has any experience with this product... your comments.
