Radiator fan won't turn on
Hi everyone , new s owner here. The s I recently bought have couple of problems. Overheating is one of it. I has been searching around for the solution for the problem here and tried couple of thing but it didn't solve it. That's why I make this post and hopefully someone experiences will able to help me.
Like title said the fan won't turn on but when I turn on the AC the fan will turn on. I also tested all the fuses and it's working perfectly fine. The thermostat is working but assuming not at the best condition. I believe it might the temperature sensor so I replaced but it still not working. Now I'm assuming it might be the wire or something else. If anyone know what is the problem, please let me know

Would help to know what year car you have. There's a thermostatically controlled switch in the bottom of the radiator in the pre-2006 cars and a sensor in a similar location in the later cars with DBW. The switch can be tested by disconnecting it and shorting the contacts in the plug -- fans should come on.
Start on page 10-14 in the Service Manual. Note the different procedures dependent on model year.

Why not replace the thermostat? Seems like a logical and relatively inexpensive item to do.
If the fan runs with AC you know that it's not the fan motor, and the fuses are fine, then it's got to be whatever switch turns it on (thermostat).
