Default Radio Cover gets stuck when opening

Hello guys,

I have recently went to this audio shop to get my new deck installed. Since then, my radio cover would get stuck when I try to open it. When I press on the radio cover, normally it would just open, but the top of it gets stuck to the air vents ontop. To open the radio cover, I have to now push the vents up so it gives the audio cover enough clearance to slide open.... I don't know how that started happening, or what the audio installers could have done to create this problem.

Anyone have this problem before? I can't figure out how to fix this issue!

Please help!

Bests,
Henry

sounds to me like one of the clips to the radio door isn't fully engaged. the vents are a part of the door. I would try removing the cover and make sure its properly positioned.

take it back to the shop. when i was reinstalling my oem radio thsi happened. its because the radio wasnt fitted right or the vents arent all the way in. either way its the shops responsibility.

Before you drive, take a look at the cover, and make sure it's fully snapped in (like the other poster suggested). This should be easy to see (look at top, bottom, and both sides), and to adjust back into place. If that doesn't fix the problem, then drive to the installer.
