It sounds like everyone is having a wonderul weekend so far, with more to come.

Chicago weather has been incredible, high of 83*F, sunny, low humidity, and tonight it's going down to mid-50s... great sleeping weather. No change for the next several days.

I spent the day working on a shelving unit I'm building for #2 daughter's apartment, I got the basic unit completed and all that remains is the base and finish. Tomorrow will see things nearly ready to go.

Saturday night, 08/23/03, 9:45 P.M. 68*f Clear.

What a nice day. Did some top down driving. Adam and I put on about 40 miles going to the local dry cleaners to pick up the cleaning. We took the long way. The very long way, but we had a great time. E.W.A. still can't figure out why it took us so long to get the shirts. We told her it was very busy. She doesn't believe us.

We visited my folks. My father is 83 and is scheduled to have knee surgery on Tuesday so we wanted to spend the afternoon with him. The four of us went and had a surprisingly nice time with my mother and father. Not one arguement or fight. This has to be a new modern day record. We took E.W.A.'s TL-TypeS. It is my second favorite car to drive after my S.

Tomorrow we go to Woodward, PA. to drop Andrew off at Camp Woodward for a week of intense, extreme skateboarding. This is his third summer at Camp Woodward, but he is really excited. This year his skateboarding skills have matured and he is doing some really difficult tricks. He loves skateboarding and has managed to get really good grades so we're pretty happy with the balance. The skateboarding is fine as long as the good grades continue.

What a nice weekend. I'm glad everyone is enjoying it.

 

Hey, Johnny! I'm a Wisconsin native (Bay View area born & bred), and I still get up there to visit family quite frequently. Are you going to drive your S all year 'round?
