And in all seriousness Carl, I agree with the others about the arm. I would see a doc or go to the ER about that, just in case something is brewing.

Yes Carl, go to the DR. That is not a laughing matter expecially since you are so young!!! Do you smoke? Might just be an aftermath thing from all the partying and stuff from the weekend, but take it easy and have it checked out....seriously.

As for the headache behind the eye, that sounds like a Migrane. Take some alleve or better yet Asprin (that will work for the heart too). Tonight when you get home (if you're not already) sit back and relax. No Alky (as bad of a day as you had it's hard, but NO!!!). Just dont forget, leave work at work, and watch the repeat of OC

If you want to talk, my AIM is Quik S2000 or PM. Take care of yourself, and tomorrow is another day.

Hey 4, if anything ever happened to you we'd never forgive ourselves. We'd have no one to pick on. Get to a doctor.

Tell the client to go to hell, they'll have more respect, and most of all, don't take any client nonsense personally. They don't hear half of what they're saying. And, they're not worth a heart attack.

Ohio

Adam is 9. I intend to pull him out of school at noon on Friday for the drive down to Maryland.

Well Carl, I'll put in my 2 cents worth. I have a periodic aching pain in my left upper arm and some tingling down the arm that I found out is caused by a pinched nerve in my neck from a touch of arthritis. Your symptoms sound nerve related to me. Anyway, not a good idea to put off a visit to the doc.

Beautiful day here today...spent alot of it at the pool just relaxing. Haven't been able to do much of that lately. Back to work tomorrow. More heat and humidity for the rest of the week.

CORNER!!!

. I was reading some client management materials once and they said there are clients not worth having and they should be dumped. That's hard for people to do because we all have a tendency to bend over backwards for clients and subscribe to the philosophy that "the customer is always right". In fact, when my partner and I started our firm, we used to joke about our skill sitting across from clients saying, "you're right, we're assholes". We taught all of our consultants that skill just in case. Fortunately, we've never really had to invoke it.

Over the years I've talked to many older, now retired, CPAs. When I ask them the secret to their longevity they all reply basically the same way, "If any client gives you too much aggravation, get rid of him. They're not worth it."

Carl, don't let them get to you.

Monday evening... 5:20 pm... still 96* out. Way too hot for the top down. *sigh*

Carl... make sure you get to a doctor. We want to make sure you'll be well taken care of.

Quik - Wish I could have gone to Yosemite! I know what you mean about getting carsick, though, if you're the passenger. Whenever my boyfriend and I go up north to Point Arena, if I'm not driving, more often than not I will feel very yucky by the time we get to the house.

Went to SF Chinatown yesterday. Bought a new Korean pop CD and their concert on VCD. I'm so in love with Kpop and Jpop...

Drove the S today, of course, but I was a big annoyed at the waterspots left over from last week's surprise rainstorm. I didn't get to wash the car this weekend so I am mildly upset about that. How odd...
