4:00 pm... 84*... sunny and clear! ^-^

Left the house a little late, so did some very spirited driving on the freeway... Made a G35 mad at me with my cutting in and out of traffic so he tried to follow me but couldn't. I've been accustomed to manuevering traffic with my del Sol, and the S isn't much bigger.

Left 15 minutes later than usual and was only 5 minutes late. As I got off the freeway and waited at a stop light in town, I put the top down and enjoyed the sun and breeze... and the beautiful sound of that exhaust. Ah... I love the S

Rain gang, get this saga. My wife and I had a date tonight to go see the Indians vs. the Toronto Blue Jays at Jacobs Field. There is a big fireworks display after the game. They put on a good show. Wouldn't you know it, after 3 weeks of dry weather, we get heavy rain. But that's not the worst of it. After a lot of hand wringing over whether to go or not, we decided to go since the forecast was for "scattered rain". By the time we got to within 10 minutes of Jacobs Field the cell phone rings. Apparently #2 son locked himself out of the house! #1 son was at work. Sooooooooooo, we had to drive home and let him in. I didn't feel like driving all the way back downtown again so I gave the tickets to a neighbor of ours. 7th row, just behind the 1st base bag. . We put on the TV and turned on the game. No rain. And Josh Bard just hit a 3 run jack for the good guys. . Kids...

My sympathies, Ohio! My beloved Brewers (I know, I'm a glutton for punishment! ) had their 10-game winning streak snapped by the Cubbies today. Oh well... life goes on!

Ohio, that stinks!

I just got back from Costco ... bought myself a TV! This is big news for me because I bought my house over a year ago and I kept putting off buying things (including furniture I didn't need and a TV). Now I can retire my old 20" Trinitron. I don't even know how old it is, that's how long it's been in my family! I got a nice 36" that will fit nicely in the living room. Ah... now I can play all my video games in comfort!

Of course, I went with my friend in his Maxima. No way would I have fit that thing in my S!

Dont worry 4, you will be missed......I'm sure you will enjoy your trip though.

6:30 pm and its 89* out now. The weather has been lovely lately and I have been enjoying it out. Not looking forward to teh first rain. Gotta get my hood prepped for it so I dont hydrolock my car.

LOL I tried fitting a desktop computer into my S... it was very difficult. It had a monitor, tower, mouse and all the necessary peripherals. We had to take everything out of the box and arrange it in the trunk, but the tower wouldn't fit in the trunk so my friend had to sit with it in his lap on the passenger side. Oh yeah, the trunk wouldn't close, either. LOL So I had blind spots both at the back and the passenger side. Good thing the drive was just down the street.

6:40 pm and 82*. Still wonderful out there. I'm glad I didn't bring the S because of the TV (I'm still at work, but my boyfriend came and took the TV away with his '99 Cougar) but I'm sad I didn't bring the S because the weather is just right for top down driving.
