This is my 78 year-old dad's car. I drove it and was not very impressed. It is an automatic though.

speaking of washing hondas, i washed my car today in 30 degree weather(the car was very dusty). anyways, the wind chills made the water freeze and i could see icycles forming right in front of me. good thing the water from the hose was warm and quickly took care of everything.

Ralper, thanks for pointing me to that thread.

I hope you didn't get the wrong idea, though! I don't want the NSX because it's more expensive or exotic... I want it because I have been in love with the car since the first time I came across it. It's blasphemy to most enthusiasts, but I would use it as a daily driver. My biggest desire is to own the S and NSX at the same time, but that would be quite selfish and impractical. LOL

Patty

I thought you might like reading the "Little Silver S" story again so here it is:

The Little Silver S
Chapter I

Somewhere in the Pacific there is a Honda ship carrying a load of newly completed cars to the U.S. Most of these cars will be trucked to the dealerships to stand in the cold storage lots waiting and hoping for a buyers to give them a good home. One of these cars, a MY2004 Sebring Silver S2000 is far luckier. There is waiting for it in Chesterfield, MO. a fine home where it will be loved by Mr. & Mrs. Sleepwalker.

Sleep tight little S2000. Your journey is almost finished. Do not be afraid, you will soon be home.

The Little Silver S
Chapter II

Somewhere on the interstate highway system of this great nation, lumbering along at 65 miles per hour, is a great car carrier. The car carrier is bringing Hondas to Honda dealers all across the country. One of these cars, a 2004 Sebring Silver S2000 is nearing the end of its journey. It has traveled all the way from the factory in Japan and will soon be at it destination, Chesterfield, MO. There, waiting for it are the Sleepwalkers.

The little S's heart is pounding under its hood as it anticipates its new home. It imagines that there is a garage, freshly swept and clean waiting for it. It thinks of Mr. Sleepwalker, zainio in hand, lovingly polishing and cleaning its fenders. It thinks of Mrs. Sleepwalker laughing as she kids Mr. Sleepwalker about his new toy. Mostly, it thinks of little Nora and how she will shout with joy every time her father takes her for a ride. And how she will spend hours with him and the S (and Mrs. Sleepwalker) being a happy sportscar family. Mostly it imagines that some day little Nora will grow up to be big Nora and have kids of her own. And she will tell her kids about the day the brand new S2000 finally arrived.

Sleep tight little S, you are almost home.

The Little Silver S
Chapter III

There was great excitement in Chesterfield, MO. The Honda dealer found out that the Little Silver S was almost there. "Surely, if its been seen in Montana, it can't be long now", thought the sales manager. When Mr. Sleepwalker asked, that is what his salesman told him. Excitedly, Mr. Sleepwalker told Mrs. Sleepwalker, Nora and anyone who would listen.

Somehow, the Little Silver S knew that too. It knew that soon it would be in Missouri at the Honda dealer. The dealer would remove those painful spring spacers, give it a bath, polish and all of the prep work necessary for delivery. Soon the Little Silver S and the Sleepwalkers would be together.

Rest easy little S, your journey is almost done.

The Little Silver S
Chapter IV

Somewhere near Nebraska there is a car carrier. On that car carrier sits a little Sebring Silver S2000. If you look closely you will see its headlight moist from tears. It has been crying. It is disappointed. It thought that it would be delivered today. It thought that it would finally meet its new owners, Mr. & Mrs. Sleepwalker and Nora. Its been on the road so long it just wanted to be home.

Don't be sad, little S, the day is coming. Be patient little S, you are almost there.

The Little Silver S
Chapter V

And everyone lived happily ever after. The end.

That is so cute. I'm such a sucker for cute stories like that... Especially parts like this:
The little S's heart is pounding under its hood as it anticipates its new home.
My MY03 Suzuka Blue Metallic's story would go something like this:

The little S arrived in San Leandro, CA after a long journey from Japan. He had gone literally over the seas and through the woods to get there. But what was this? "Hey! Where are you going with my shoes?" the little S wanted to yell out. His perfectly subtle stock rims had been replaced with horrible bling-bling type rims. Now nobody would want him!!

Then that little Asian girl came and pointed to him and said to her boyfriend, "There he is! Look how cute he is! UGH What kind of rims are those?" The salesman beamed and said, "You like them? They don't come with the car, so you'll have to add another $7,000 for the rims and tires." The little Asian girl said, "No thank you, I like the stock rims best!"

The S was afraid the little Asian girl would be too short to drive him. She opened up the door and got in... and it was a perfect fit! The S tried to look extra shiny and pretty to make sure she didn't forget about him, as she got out of the drivers' seat and closed the door. The little Asian girl patted the S on the hood and said, "Don't worry little guy, you'll be coming home soon."

Two days later, the little Asian girl came back and took him home, along with one of his friends, a MY03 black Honda Civic.
