Default raising and lowering convertible top

Did I read the owners manuel correctly or was this a typo? The manuel states the engine should not be running when you raise and lower the convertible top.

That's their suggestion, but it does NOT matter if it's running or not.

Another level of safety to ensure that you're not moving while you're putting up the top. Of course, that ignores the fact that the E-brake must be on, and the speedo must read 0 for the motors to activate....

just incase some guy does it in the middle of the stop light.. then panics and stalls and gets into an accident.. he shouldent have been operating the top while the engine was running... that way honda doesnt have to give out money... xviper gave me an explanation similar to this =P
