This just in, tested winds of up to 100 mph and my fitted cap was still on my head; only slightly tilted.

That is all.

I lost a new era hat. It stayed on no problem when I was looking straight, but when I turned my head left to cut over, it was gone..

I've seen redline in 5th and my hat stayed on. At that speed the last thing you're thinking about is your hat. What will take it off is wind from the side, as you pass someone or get passed. Then it gusts hard in bursts and te hat will start to pull up. But you can catch it if you're quick.

no, not yet and i wear a baseball cap whenever i take the car out with the top down, not even on the highway with the windows down. I've had to adjust the strap on the hat to make it tighter, it was uncomfortably tight, but no, i've not lost a hat yet.

I've lost several. Most of them were when I was wearing the hat backwards. A gust of wind comes from the rear and just rips it off.

I've given up and usually just cut my hair short in the summer

No...but let the GF borrow a hat for a second and the next second it was flying through the air! We turned around and retrieved it before it was road kill. Got to love country roads and light traffic.

The only hat I've lost was actually just sitting in my passenger seat. It was made of a thinner\lighter material than the average hat and I MIGHT have hit triple digits when it happened.
