There is an incessant and rather loud rattle eminating from somewhere in the center console.

I've traced it down to something relating to the parking brake, becuase if I firmly grip the parking brake and pull it towards the driver (not up, but sideways), the rattle is almost entirely muted.

Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, aware of how to fix it? I'm guessing it invovles taking off the center console - any links on how to do this?

I can't see any obvious debris down there....
