Default Parking Brake Adjustment

I've been searching for a few hrs I can't seem to find a DIY or a HOW TO: on adjusting it. I've learned to adjust it there is something under the center console is this correct?

yes its like a 10mm bolt and you can tighten it a couple turns to where it feels better. don't tighten too much or your brakes will be engaged a little

You have to remove the center console by pulling up on it (start with the side close to the radio). You may have to remove your shift knob depending on how much room you need. This will reveal the parking brake adjustment underneath.

The spec is 9-13 clicks to full lock of the parking brake lever.
