Greetings! I just bought a new 07 berlina a month ago. I am more than impressed with the car except for one thing. There is a temporary metal ringing sound that comes from (what seems like) inside the driver side door. This happens everytime I turn up the radio and the bass shakes whatever is shaking. This happens regardless if the top is up or down.

Sorry for being so vague but its driving me wild and would like to know if anybody else is having this problem with their 07. Is there any quick fix to this? Thanks in advance!

 

Hmm. Maybe a loose or mispositioned lock rod or part of the window regulator.

Also, could be a stray screw floating around in there or maybe sushi bones from someone's lunch.

You're in warranty. Have them pull the panel and check it out. You might be just overdriving the phenomenally impressive factory speakers but that is more of a popping sound than a metallic sound.
