For those with subs in the trunk.. do you have a problem with trunk rattling? In my last car I did until I Dynamatted the heck out of the trunk. The problem on this car is that theres no lining for the trunk lid and Dynamat on bare metal would just be ugly. My plan was to put maybe a 12" in the spare tire well in a custom box which maybe would lessen rattling. Any other suggestions for sub size? I like my bass, plus Im getting MB Quarts soon which I understand have a somewhat bright sound so I would like some bass to even it out.

I didn't dynomat, but I was able to get rid of most of the rattle. I had some of those ankle running weights, you know with sand in them? I stuffed 3 of them inbetween the metal pieces of the trunk. 95% of the rattle is gone. But the car is 15 pounds heaver, as well as the trunk

Where did you put the weights?

Thanks!

Inbetween the two pieces of metal. Open the trunk, and where the little lock thing is, there are 3 holes, 4-5 inches in diameter. I shoved the weights into the trunk, one on each end and one in the middle.
