Default 12" Eclipse titanium and Trunk rattle

I have a 12" Ecllipse titanium in a fibertglass molded box in my trunk powered by a 1000 watt Helix amp and my trunk is rattling excessively. I could see the trunk lid actually move when the bass is hitting hard plus when i push the trunk down 95% of the rattle goes away, what should i do to make the rattle stop because it its resonating back into the cabin and its making my car sound like a 88 sentra with swapmeet speakers in it.

well 1000w to a 12" sub will do that! Take all the lining out and dampen everything.

Have you deadened your trunk yet? If you have, consider adding more layers.

use the spray dampening system first.. from like dynamat, or lightning audio, then dynamat it and it works good. i did that and it took away the rattle..

You know what rattles you get too? Hardtop rattles. I'd like to see a creative way of fixing this
