Re-applying the windshield tape...
Call around the local sign shops as see if you can pick up some "High Performance" black vinyl. You would have to hand cut the tape but you might get lucky and pick up some scraps for free.
Do Not get the intermediate grade stuff, even if it's free. Genersal rule of thumb, intermediate is good for 3 to 5 yrs and high perf is good for 7 to 10 yrs.

The guy i bought my car from scratched on side of his tape. The new piece didnt match the other two.
So he replaced all three pieces. $600 to have the dealership do it.
Only reason i havent removed mine yet.

Was just watching Initial D season 4, episode 20. There's a blue S2000 with single exhaust and wing racing Takumi. His tape's pealed off. Did JDM S2000's have the black tape?

If you take the cost of the tape from those parts sites, that would make it $500.00 in labour.
Plus I think the black windshield still looks better even with a hardtop. IMO
