I really wish there were stiffer punishment for theft...like chopping off the thieves' hands.

jackgarlic: I am from Malaysia too, though I've been in the Boston area for over 15 years now.

<---starts to gag from his previous experiences at "Chop Block Square".
Yeah, one hand chopping was enough for me to see... Guy was caught stealing a 13 inch color TV from his cousin.
Yeah they did drug him up quite a bit for the chopping, and bandaged him up pretty good afterwards, just makes me glad it would never happen to me..
Anyways, to get back to the point...yeah it does sound like a good excuse (but expensive) to change to clear corners
Always want to be there to catch the thief in the act... So far, no one's tried to steal from me since I was able to own a gun...
Anyways, I hope this never happens to anyone here!

No, it's really happening.
Don't you think $1500 hanging out there is a good incentive for thieves to take them?

My colleague's car was towed by Acura roadside assistance at midnight saturday/sunday. It will take a week to fix the damages and get the new headlights.
Apparently they have perfected the technique, the damage to the car is much less now. However, the estimated time of jacking those headlights on the TL is probably 30 second per light.

Owning both the stook and TL makes me sick to my stomach at the moment.

Dammit, now I'm worried too. I guess this means we have DOUBLE the chance of our HID's getting jacked...

But on the S, their going to have to rip it out of the car instead of just unbolting it...

why not just move to somewhere safe?

I don't even lock my car unless something valuable is right on the seat.
