Reading internet reviews of S2000- an "illegal operation?"
Hi. I'm as fascinated by my new 04 as everyone else is about their S. So when I've read every new post here at S2ki I sometimes do a Google search to reread the old reviews of the S2000. However, there's a problem.
Every time I start reading a magazine review of the S on the net, the "you have performed an illegal operation" box comes up and I have no choice but to reboot.
Does this happen to anyone else? It has gotten to the point that I dare not click on any reviews of the S2000 any more. Why does this happen? What's going on here?

its a conspiracy, "the man" doesn't want you to know about the s2000...
i find it hard to believe that this error your getting is specific to s2000 related articles. i bet it'll happen no matter what your looking at on the net, and i'm guessing that this "illegal operation" that is occuring is a microsoft product (IE) actually trying to work. you could possibly have some spyware running on your comp. try and clean that crap off.

This is one of the most common solutions:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;330904
If that doesn't work, try this software: http://www.safer-networking.org/
I have run both of these fixes and never get pop-ups or other annoying crap like that anymore.
